Communion

We could not have asked for a more perfect day! It was beautiful! Jacob did so well at his first Communion. He was a little nervous but you wouldn't know. We arrived at the church early to get good seats. We had reserved two pews for family which were completely full. We all had a great view. Unfortunately, you were not allowed to take pictures or video. Jake was responsible for bringing up the gifts. He did a great job. After he received his communion, the class sang a song. It was so cute and I really wish I could have a video of it. Jacob got really into it and was belting out the lyrics. Guess that shy kid is no more. Chloe and Gavin were great. We were there a very long time, they enjoyed themselves and didnt make a peep. Chloe loved the little girls dresses! After we came to our house for a little cookout. Jacob is very blessed to have such generous family and friends. We even had a surprise guest.. my cousin Krystina. I was so excited to see her as we dont get to very often. Jacob made out very well and was able to buy an ipod touch the next day. It was very cute because when he woke up this morning he said to me "was i dreaming or did I really get an ipod touch". We had a great afternoon. Thank you to our family and friends who came to support him on this special day!
After the party Jacob had a baseball game where he debuted as a pitcher... he struck two kids out! He also had great bats and did great at 2nd base. The team had a great game! We have gotten to know them so well over the past four years that they are like our second family. We wanted to include them in Jake's special game so after we had a campfire at our house. I am not sure who had more fun... the kids or the adults! Congratulations Jacob. God has blessed us with three great kids! We are so lucky and could not be prouder!
