Spring is here?

It's been a while since the last time I posted. We haven't been doing too much, mostly hanging out and we definitely enjoyed our brief stint of Spring. I can't believe it went from 70 degrees on Friday to this snowy mess.

A few weeks ago Jacob had his state Championship with wrestling where he got second place. He had some tough matches but held on and did a great job. We just had our last match this past weekend. Now we can enjoy a couple free weekends before baseball starts. Once the sports begin with your kids, you are always on the go. At the field or gym all day on weekends and practice multiple times a week. And with two involved... its almost every day. It's a lot of fun though.

Chloe started at the Little Gym last month. She is a bit shy during the circle time but loves to do the exploring. Her favorite seems to be the balance beam. Maybe a little gymnast in the making. She likes to watch and study the other kids and practices at home. She loves jumping and is practicing her monkey jumps too. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures yet but I will take some soon.

Gavin learned to swing all by himself with no push to start. He loves it and has gotten so good at it. We are all proud of him. He is super excited to start baseball. Last night he went to an event where he got to meet his teammates. He is a social butterfly. He can find friends wherever he goes.

On Friday Gavin, Chloe and I went to the lake to feed the ducks. Chloe was pointing and yelling "duckie" Her favorite stuffed animal is her duck so naturally seeing the real thing was a big hit. Gavin loved throwing the bread to them.

Jacob had his first project for school. He had to find three ways to conserve our natural resources using illustrations and a sentence for each. He worked really hard on it and did a great job. Unfortunately he has been sick all week so he has not handed it in. but here is a sneak peak.

Other than that we have been hanging out and playing with friends (well minus this week of course) Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of Spring. Hopefully we will see more 70 degree days than snow!!!
